Hibiscus 'Antong Two' PPAF Just when you thought there was nothing new under the sun, along comes a dwarf Rose of Sharon with a super-long bloomtime and great adaptability! Just as robust as its larger cousins but a fraction of the size, Lil' Kim™ is a delight for containers, hedges, borders, and foundations. From early summer all the way into fall, masses of 3-inch white blooms arise, each with a dark red to magenta blotch at the center. Nicely ruffled, they are profuse all summer long and into autumn, stopped only by really chilly weather. You can't find a better "bloom machine" to show off along the driveway, on the south side of the house, or on the patio! Just 3 to 5 feet tall and 2 to 4 feet wide, Lil' Kim™ is a fraction of the size of most other Rose of Sharons, yet is so well-branched and floriferous that it matches them easily in flower power. Impervious to heat, humidity, and drought, it's also a good choice for urban streetside plantings, for it isn't bothered by pollution. And it even tolerates poor soil, provided it is moist! This is a plant to show off in any sunny garden spot or fine container. It makes a fine poolside planting, a lovely specimen in a small space, and a border standout.
